Are photos uploaded in full quality?

Yes. Sharefetti keeps every photo and video as the original file that left the guest’s phone, with no compression. We create smaller previews for browsing, but downloads are always the full-quality originals.
How it works
When a guest uploads, the original file is stored unchanged. To keep the gallery fast on phones, we also make lightweight preview images. The gallery shows the previews; Download and Download all give you the originals.
Why some apps lower quality
Messaging apps and some shared albums shrink photos to save space and data. That’s fine for a quick look, but not for printing or framing. Sharefetti keeps the originals so you can print them.
Common questions
Does this use up guests’ mobile data?
Full-quality photos are larger files, so uploads use some data. On venue Wi-Fi this usually isn’t a problem.
