An audio guestbook lets guests record spoken messages for the hosts instead of writing in a book. Sharefetti’s version works on guests’ own phones through your QR code and also records video messages.
Is this a good wedding audio guestbook alternative?
Yes. Instead of renting a vintage phone and waiting in line at one table, every guest leaves a voice message from their own phone, any time during the night. There’s nothing to ship back, and you can download every message as an audio file.
What’s the difference between an audio guestbook and a video guestbook?
An audio guestbook records voice messages only. A video guestbook records the guest on camera too. Sharefetti lets each guest choose voice, video or a written message.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests scan your QR code and record in the browser on iPhone or Android. They only need to allow the microphone (and camera for video) once.
How long can a message be?
Voice messages can be up to 3 minutes and video messages up to 2 minutes. Written messages can be up to 1,000 characters.
Are guestbook messages private?
By default, only you and your co-hosts can see and hear them. You can choose to show written messages in the gallery or on the slideshow.
Can people who couldn’t come leave a message?
Yes. Send them your event link and they can record from anywhere while uploads are open.
