This summary is for convenience. The full policy below is what applies.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (like local storage on your phone) that Sharefetti uses, and how you can control them. It adds detail to section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, like local storage, do the same job on your phone. They let a site remember things between visits, like that you’re signed in or the name you entered on an event page.
2. The kinds we use
- Strictly necessary: needed for the Service to work and to keep it secure. You can’t turn these off in our settings, but you can block them in your browser (some features will stop working).
- Preferences: remember choices such as your currency (CAD or USD) and language.
- Analytics: help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate. We only use them with your consent where required, and we don’t use them for advertising.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by our providers when you use their parts of the Service: Cloudflare (security and bot protection), Stripe (fraud prevention at checkout) and Google (if you sign in with Google). Their use is covered by their own privacy policies. See our list of subprocessors.
4. How to change your choices
- Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, or the panel shown below.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. On iPhone: Settings → Safari. On Android: Chrome → Settings → Site settings.
- If you clear cookies on an event page, you may be asked for your name again and won’t be able to delete photos you uploaded earlier from that phone.
