A checklist for the week before

Updated October 2026 · 2 minute read
Quick answer

A week before your event, print your QR cards, test an upload from your own phone, try the slideshow on the TV you’ll use, and brief your co-hosts. It takes about fifteen minutes.

The checklist

  1. 1
    Check your plan
Make sure your plan covers your guest count and the features you want, like the slideshow or voice guestbook.
  2. 2
    Print your QR cards
Download the print-ready PDF and print table cards and a welcome sign. Scan a printed card to check it works.
  3. 3
    Test an upload
Scan your QR code, add a photo and a short video, and check they appear in your gallery.
  4. 4
    Test the slideshow
Open the slideshow on the TV or laptop you’ll use at the venue. Check the screen, sound and Wi-Fi.
  5. 5
Set uploads to open and close
Choose when guests can start adding photos and when uploads close.
  6. 6
    Brief your co-hosts
Tell them how to approve photos and start the slideshow, and share the event password if you set one.
  7. 7
    Tell guests
Mention it in your welcome speech or on the invitation: “Scan the code on your table to share your photos.”
