How to leave a voice or video message

Quick answer

On the event page, tap Leave a message, then choose Voice, Video or Written. Record your message in the browser, listen back if you like, and tap Send. Voice and video messages are available on events using the Celebration or Business plan.

Step by step

    Open the event page
    Scan the QR code or open the event link.

    Tap “Leave a message”
    It’s the second button under Add photos & videos.

    Choose a type
    Voice, Video or Written.
  4. 4
    Record
    Allow the microphone or camera when your phone asks, then tap Record. Voice messages can be up to 2 minutes.
  5. 5
    Send
    Play it back if you want to check it, then tap Send.

Tips for a great message

  • Find a quieter corner, or step outside for a moment.
  • Say who you are and how you know the hosts.
  • Keep it short and from the heart. A story or a wish works better than a speech.

Common questions

My phone didn’t ask for the microphone.

Check your browser settings allow the microphone for this site, then reload the page. On iPhone: Settings → Safari → Microphone.
